Prof. Archana Sawshilya

Prof. Archana Sawshilya has been teaching in the Department of Political Science at Aditi Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi, for three decades. She is associated with more than a dozen national academic and social organizations and serves as a member of the editorial board and reviewer for the International Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities and the International Journal of Creative Research Thoughts.

Prof. Sawshilya has received several awards for her contributions to public policy research and has been invited as a resource person at over 50 academic and research events. She has secured grants from UGC, ICSSR, and IGL to conduct research studies on public policy and governance.

Her academic journey is highlighted by a significant body of work, with numerous research papers published by reputed pedagogical research centers and institutes affiliated with the University of Delhi, such as the Centre for Global Studies and the Developing Countries Research Centre. She has authored, co-authored, and edited a total of 58 publications, including articles, chapters, books, and monographs, featured in UGC Care-listed and peer-reviewed journals.

Prof. Sawshilya has contributed numerous articles to Hindi literary magazines like Kadambini and to newspapers, writing on social and altruistic topics, such as the challenges faced by the elderly, the importance of prayer, and the significance of addressing psychological needs. She has also published an anthology of poems titled Godhuli ki Subah. Furthermore, Prof. Sawshilya is a practitioner of Indian healing knowledge systems
