Dr. Neha Singh

Dr. Neha Singh teaches political science at Ramanujan College, University of Delhi. She specializes in the pedagogical domains of Ambedkar's philosophy, policy analysis related to caste and gender, religion in urban spaces, and inclusive policies. Dr. Singh has also taught at several colleges within the University of Delhi, including Satyawati College, Dyal Singh College, Mata Sundri College for Women, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, Kirori Mal College, and others, covering a wide range of subjects such as comparative political concepts and methods, human rights, gender and environment, nationalism in India, political theory, Indian political thought, understanding Ambedkar and Gandhi, and political leadership in Indian political thought.

She completed her M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Dr. Singh has worked as a lead researcher with several organizations, including the National Commission for Women (NCW), Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR), Social Studies Foundation (SSF), and National Social Watch. As Principal Investigator, she is currently leading a research study on "Understanding Caste and Race" funded by ICSSR.

Dr. Singh's research on gender, caste politics, public policy, and Indian thought has been published in reputed journals and publishers such as the South India Journal of Social Sciences, Native India Journal, Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts Publication, Ambedkar Foundation, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, and in publications by Sage, Cambridge, and Oxford.

For her academic contributions, she has received grants to attend conferences and academic events at European universities. She is also a member of several distinguished academic societies, including the European Association for the Study of Religion, Swedish South Asian Studies Network, Indian Political Science Association, and Indian History Congress.
