Mr. Dorjee
Mr. Dorjee holds an M.Phil. in African Studies from the University of Delhi, where their dissertation examined China-Nigeria relations between 2006 and 2016. He also has an M.A. in Political Science from Shobhit University and a B.A. from Manav Bharti University, along with qualifying the UGC-NET in Political Science. As a Guest Faculty at Hansraj College, University of Delhi (NCWEB), from 2022 to 2023, Dorjee taught undergraduate courses focusing on governance, political theory, and international relations. Previously, he worked as a Research Analyst at Janes Intelligence (2020–2021), conducting detailed research on political protests, organized crime, and terrorism in African nations like Liberia, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe.
Mr. Dorjee’s research experience extends to serving as a Field Investigator for an ICSSR project, where they conducted comparative studies on the PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana across four Indian states, focusing on field surveys, statistical analysis, and report writing.
Mr. Dorjee has actively engaged in academia through conferences and presentations, including their recent paper on India’s G20 engagement with Nigeria at an international conference on India-Africa relations. Multilingual and globally oriented, Dorjee is proficient in English, Hindi, Sherdukpen, Assamese, Chinese (Mandarin), and Swahili. Their extracurricular achievements include being the lead vocalist of the rock band “The Mangalz” and serving as North-East Convener for the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) in 2017–18, reflecting their leadership skills and creative pursuits.
